Engineering
Full-Stack Engineer (Riyadh or Amman)
Yasmina AI is an insurtech company building embedded insurance infrastructure. Our APIs let partner platforms offer insurance products, pricing, and policies from leading insurers directly inside their own customer journeys. We're a small, fast-moving team, and this is a core engineering hire — you'll own real product surfaces end to end, not tickets.
About the role
You'll build and ship across the whole stack: the APIs and integrations that connect partners to insurers, the internal tools and dashboards our team and partners use, and the customer-facing flows where policies get quoted, bought, and issued. You'll work directly with the founders and product, talk to partners' engineers during integrations, and be trusted to take a feature from spec to production. Most of your time goes to building; the rest to making what we've built more reliable.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and ship features end to end — backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces
- Build and maintain integrations with insurer and partner systems, including quoting, policy issuance, and payment flows
- Support partner integrations: review their API usage, debug issues with their engineers, and turn recurring problems into better docs or tooling
- Own reliability for what you ship — monitoring, logging, error handling, and fixing production issues fast
- Write clean, tested, well-documented code and review others' work
- Help shape engineering practices as the team grows — CI/CD, testing, release process
What we're looking for
- 3–6 years of professional full-stack experience shipping production software
- Strong in [backend language/framework, e.g. Node.js / Python / .NET] and a modern front-end framework [e.g. React / Next.js]
- Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs, working with relational databases, and integrating third-party systems
- Comfortable with cloud infrastructure [e.g. AWS / Azure], containers, and CI/CD pipelines
- Pragmatic: you scope well, ship in small increments, and know when good enough is good enough
- Clear written communication in English; Arabic is a plus, especially for working with partner engineering teams in Saudi
- Thrives in early-stage ambiguity — comfortable owning problems without a detailed spec
- Based in or willing to relocate to Amman, Jordan
Nice to have
- Fintech, insurance, or payments experience, especially in regulated environments
- Experience with security and compliance requirements (data protection, audit logging)
- Familiarity with Arabic/RTL front-end work
